Another schedule change. Another new partner.
Sam, I hate to do this to you, but I only have one shift left with Sleepy Partner.
Here's a previously unposted sleepy pic for ya:
Tomorrow I work with another coworker as Sleepy worked nine twelve hour shifts straight and is taking an extra day off (can't say I blame him) but I do work Friday with him. Saturday and Sunday are off days, then I start my new schedule... Monday through Friday, 0700-1700 with a partner I have yet to come up with a name for.... I'm sure I'll have something by the end of the first day.
McHottie, perhaps? I dunno.
For those of you who pray... Seriously, I could use them. My left leg is still EXTREMELY sore... That sciatic nerve is killing me. I cried again tonight, and in front of my kids... Not a proud moment for me. I can remember every time my Mom cried in front of me, even several years later. Then my Dad called and I cried to him on the phone. It's been a rough day.
With me luck folks.
News from the job-front...

Sleepy Partner, noooo! You will be missed :( Give him my best wishes, haha. This new one better be a cute ;)
Oh, Epi, you'll definitely be in my thoughts. I'm so sorry this isn't getting better. I'll be praying for you.
Don't you worry, hon... I'm sure there will be Sleepy Partner posts in my future as he has absolutely NO sense of direction and I have instructed him to "call my cell" if he gets lost.
And trust me, new partner is equally as hot. And I'm married, so take that for what it's worth :)
Oo, I'm excited to see him! I trust your judgment :P
I'll see what I can do :) Trust me tho... You won't be disappointed.
How did the chiropractor go? Feeling any better?
Try valerian root extract.
It smells like dirty socks but is the best legal safe nerve tonic.
As a FTO I had a new partner every 6 weeks for 8 years. It's not fun and a definite hazard to the body.
kvegas: I'm DEFINITELY getting some relief from the chiropractor. He even offered to stay late tomorrow night so that I could be seen after another 12 hour shift. I think I love him.
Hammer: That's not the first time I've heard that... I'm going to send the husband out to find it tomorrow.
Carol: You reminded me of my FTO... I couldn't even operate a cot when I first started, it was a nightmare (for me and him, I'm sure). My back hurts just thinking about it.
Have you thought of getting a massage? There are some great therapists out there who can ensure that your nerve is not being entraped and pinched in between some tight muscles. It requires some work done in the ahem, posterior region (CHEEK ONLY!) and it is a godsend.
I speak from experience as a CMT and a patient.
Hope you feel better soon!
Hang in there Epi. Prayers heading downrange now.
{{{ HUGS }}} and healing vibes.
Karen
