Epi: "I was at Bowling Green in 1994, about the time the internet really took off."
Sam: "Oh I remember, I was five --"
Epi: "YOU WERE FIVE? OH Jesus..."
Sam: "You're not that much older than me! I remember that my Dad brought home this computer and--"
Epi: "YOU. Were. FIVE? When I was in college you were five. I think I'm having chest pains."
Sam: *giggling* "I could date someone your age and it would only be a little bit creepy."
Epi: "Only a little bit?"
Yes, folks, I am old. Apparently I'm VERY old.
BTW, I still adore you, Sam... Next time you plan on shattering my self confidence by reminding me of how old I am, bring the Nitro and Morphine, 'kay?
Another conversation with Sam

I was seven.
Witness...Dear... I know who you are. And I can find out where you live. No teasing about my age or I'll track you down. :)
Then again, at least you weren't five.
That's ok, Epi...I was 14 and I remember it too. So you aren't the only OLD blogger out here, girl!
;o)
OK, OK, OK, I confess.......
(but shhhhh...you can't tell anyone!)
Yeah, I was in college, too. And I was 24.
Yes, we are old... LOL
Laurazdczfv
HA! Screw all of you "old folks"! I was 28!.......snicker-snort:)
I feel your pain. I graduated from UT in 1995. Now I work there and it makes me feel so old that the new freshmen were born in 1990.
Sigh...
OLD? You said OLD??? Excuse me while I laugh my old antiquated butt off!
In 1994 I was married for the 3rd time. I was already on forced retirement from the abuses of those good natured citizens that like to beat up on public service help AND I was taking care of my mother and my sister as both had serious health issues.
And to make it easy for ya ----- in 1994 I was 42 years old!
Now all you whippersnappers go take a nap! :))))
Old is a state of mind.
My mom, for example is 51. She looks 35 and has moments where she act the same.
I'm 32, I feel 110, and depending on my mood I might act like a 5 year old or a 90 year old...
Now it's time for me to get my blanky and go take a nap :)
43 in 1994.
I was probably on my second Apple computer by then (perhaps third.)
I feel younger now, than I did then!
I was nine..so there, you aren't that old.
LOL...*singing* (be happy you can't hear) "Age ain't nuthin but a number..."
:o)
What a threat! Sheesh.
I was 25, a mom and in college.
I was 14 and getting ready to start high school. :-)
Epi - I said I was "old" meaning in comparison to the other posts and the numbers quoted. LOL
BUT - I never said I grew up. :))
Getting old is mandatory, growing up is optional. And I've been exercising my options for quite some time.
But remember ... there are wonderful perks to getting older. You can do bizarre stuff and people attribute it to your age instead of thinking you just raised your middle finger to society. heeheeheeheeee
If it makes you feel better I was 11. My brother in law was not born yet though. I do however have the joints of a 70 yo and sense of humor of my father, who as it turns out is 60. So... Chin up!
I was one. And I'm just starting high school now.
