An Update on last week's Anon Poster...

Just in case you missed it, here is her contribution to NSR last week.

She did it.

She officially enrolled in the Basic course. (After a thorough talking to on expectations I might add.)

Knowing her as I do, I'm proud of her decision to do something she's wanted to do for quite a while.

Congratulations to her!

All too often we don't start down a path because of fear of difficulty or complexity. But getting to the end of that path simply requires putting one foot in front of the other over, and over, and over again.
Nothing really worth doing comes easily. Good for her.

Now, can I point something out?
In her comment she said:
"I started seriously thinking about medicine again but thought I cannot go back into an office or hospital setting- the thought of working with 1 or 100 bitchy, hormonally challenged, power tripping women just wanted to make me puke."
I'm amazed at the number of times I hear women say that. Can you imagine the uproar if a man made that comment?
We men have to be politically correct, doncha know!

Greybeard,

I am not one of those "politically correct" people. I call them like I see them! And if I were standing next to you when you said that I would clap heartily and say "AMEN"

:)
